Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period has been specified in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for processing the data no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion will take place after these reasons no longer apply.
1) Basic information on the handling of personal data
You can visit our website without providing any personal data. Each time you access our website, usage data is transmitted by the respective Internet browser and stored in log files, the so-called server log files, such as the date and time of access, the name of the page accessed, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR out of our overriding legitimate interest in ensuring the trouble-free operation of our website and to improve our offer.
Personal data is collected if you voluntarily provide it to us for the execution of a contract or when opening a customer account. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. You can delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below. We store and use the data provided by you to process the contract. After completion of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be blocked with regard to tax and commercial law retention periods and deleted after expiry of these periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we have reserved the right to further use of your data as permitted by law, about which we will inform you accordingly below.
When you contact us (e.g. via contact form or email), personal data is collected; the data collected in the case of a contact form can be seen from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. Your data will be deleted after your request has been processed, provided that you request this and there are no legal obligations to retain the data.
2)Hosting
Shopify
We host our website Linesi at Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland (hereinafter “Shopify”).
Shopify is a tool for creating and hosting websites. When you visit our website, Shopify collects your IP address and information about the device you are using and your browser. Shopify is also used to analyze visitor numbers, visitor sources and customer behavior and to generate user statistics. When you make a purchase on our website, Shopify also collects your name, e-mail address, delivery and billing addresses, payment details and other data related to the purchase (e.g. telephone number, amount of sales made, etc.). Shopify stores cookies in your browser for the analyses.
Details can be found in Shopify's privacy policy: https://www.shopify.de/legal/datenschutz.
The use of Shopify is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in displaying our website as reliably as possible. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
3) Newsletter
If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The data entered in the newsletter registration form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter or after the purpose no longer applies. We reserve the right to delete or block e-mail addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.
After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided in the newsletter or by sending us a corresponding message. Once you have unsubscribed, your email address will be deleted from our newsletter distribution list immediately.
3) Forwarding of personal data for order processing
2.1 The personal data collected by us will be passed on to the transport company commissioned with the delivery as part of the contract processing, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods.
2.2 If the goods are delivered by the transport service provider DHL (Deutsche Post AG, Charlesde-Gaulle-Straße 20, 53113 Bonn), we will pass on your e-mail address to DHL before delivery of the goods for the purpose of coordinating a delivery date or notifying you of the shipping status, provided that you have expressly consented to this as follows:
“I agree that my e-mail address will be forwarded to DHL (Deutsche Post AG, Charles-de- Gaulle-Straße 20, 53113 Bonn, Germany) so that DHL can contact me by e-mail prior to delivery of the goods for the purpose of coordinating a delivery date or transmitting status information on shipment delivery. I can revoke my consent in this regard at any time.”
Otherwise, we will only pass on the name of the recipient and the delivery address to DHL. In this case, prior coordination of the delivery date with DHL or the transmission of status information on shipment delivery is not possible.
